FAQ

When should I expect my pumpkin delivery and set up? Your pumpkins will be delivered during the week you selected at checkout. At least one week prior to your chosen delivery week, you will receive an email with your specific delivery date. This allows us to create the most efficient delivery routes so that we can best serve our clients. If you have a specific delivery date or event date in mind, please contact us by calling or making a note of it in your checkout under "Notes:"

When should I expect the Pick Up and Removal Service: Your product will be picked up during the week you selected upon checkout. The week prior to your chosen pickup week, you will receive an email with your specific pickup day. We will come by and clean it up, taking it off to local farms where the animals LOVE to eat their pumpkins! Save your back and time and just enjoy the full service of delivery and pick up!

Can I have the package I purchased for delivery and set up be split up for two different displays at my home? Yes! We're happy to split the pumpkins up and display the package you purchased at two different entrances, etc... The quantity of pumpkins does not change but we are happy to arrange more than one entrance display with your package at no extra charge. You will note this in "Note:" at check out. And if you think of it after checking out, please reach out to let us know.

How long do pumpkins last? This is like asking how long an apple will last. It is still produce and while they last for weeks to months, certain environmental factors can speed up or delay the decaying process. Less sun and airflow is helpful! We specifically included far more heirloom or specialty pumpkins in the packages than classic orange jack-o-lanterns because they have thicker skin and can usually last for months upon months. Some even save them and bake them up in the winter! Of course, once you cut into any pumpkin, the clock is ticking. Carving Jacks is recommended 1-3 days before Halloween.

Do you service events such as weddings and parties? Yes! You can either choose one of our packages or you can call us to communicate what you're wanting and essentially customize a package with us. We will deliver and set up your event display if you wish or if you want to set it up yourself we can just deliver it to the location of choice.

When do you start taking orders? Can I get put on a yearly auto plan to hold my place every year? We start taking order August 1. Though because some of our packages become sold out customers like to be placed on a recurring seasonal plan so they don't need to worry about missing the boat and know they can plan on us for next year. When you do this, it allows us to order enough pumpkins for everyone for the next year and not risk selling out too early. If wanting to be on our fall auto plan, please email us at ashleigh@thepumpkinposse.com. Payment for auto plans are ran Aug 1 for the fall season ahead.

Photography Consent for sharing your pumpkin designs and displays: Upon checkout you will be asked if you're okay with us sharing a photo of your pumpkin display at your home. You can either choose 'Yes, but with your home numbers blurred out' or 'No, thanks." We live in a day where photos are the catalog for our services so these images will be used on our socials. We respect everyone's privacy and understand if you choose not to have your pumpkin display featured on our pages. Those that choose to have photography taken, we blur out the address numbers because there is no reason not to add more privacy when we can. We appreciate when those of you who agree to it let us but we fully understand if not.
